Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry
Representing over 1,000 business entities, the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry (The Malta Chamber) is a powerful voice for the business community, providing a central national organisation for the representation, promotion and protection of all members’ interests, as well as acting as an authoritative medium of communication between members’ sectors, Government, and the EU. The Malta Chamber organisation aims to establish and support initiatives which lead to the establishment of new business ventures and employment opportunities.
The Malta Chamber’s core services also include internationalisation support, through direct advice, as well as the organisation of information meetings regarding business opportunities abroad, with the aim of furthering business through knowledge transfer and networking. Education and training is also an important priority, with the regular organisation of courses and training seminars, with renowned lecturers, as well as members themselves passing on information.
The Malta Chamber’s SME focus is most evident through the establishment of horizontal thematic committees, such as Environment, Human Resources and Quality Management. These committees cater for the needs of our members through initiatives involving training, as well as events and position papers to further their interests.
The Malta Chamber has a full-time presence in Brussels, through the Malta Business Bureau. The MBB represents the Malta Chamber by liaising directing with the European institutions, the Maltese Permanent Representation and with organizations such as BUSINESSEUROPE and EUROCHAMBRES on all policy and funding issues affecting Maltese business interests.
